Meet Paz the Lynx! Paz lives with other lynxes in Spain and Portugal. Lynxes are named because of the way their eyes reflect light; the word “lynx” means “to shine” in Greek! It’s important to make sure Paz, his family, and his friends have a home and are safe because lynxes are the world’s most endangered cats. You can help protect lynxes by raising awareness in your community about threats that affect them like habitat loss, water pollution, and illegal hunting.
